Week 6 of House Build
The framers were able to finish the decking on the roof and insert the windows and doors today. Yay!!
Soph trying on Mommy's Zebra Shoes
Soph knows a good pair of shoes when she sees them. And Tootie begged me to buy her a pair of zebra shoes just like mine.
New Bike Helmets
We went to the store and got new bike helmets. J and Soph chose these little Rasskullz helmets that have little animal heads. Now Tootie chose a skeleton helmet with a hot pink ribbon through it. LOL!!!!

Bike vs. Mailbox
J had a bike accident on Thursday after he school. He was riding home after asking a friend to play after school, he got distracted by some other boys on bikes and veered into a mailbox. We thought he broke his collar bone, but luckily he just got stitches in his shoulder. Riley was wonderful, and he was the bravest boy. He didn't cry when getting numbed or getting his stitches. Even though, little Tootie was taunting him about getting a shot. New stitches didn't stop him from doing a hand stand when he got home. Good grief, I had to ask if he wanted to rip out his stitches and go back to the hospital and do it all again. That put a stop to the hand stands :)
Week 5 - Placing the rafters
We are in our last 3 days of finishing framing by getting the decking on the roof. The plumbers are scheduled to come in the middle of the week.
Fun at the Go Cart Track
We headed for the Go Cart track last weekend. Brad took each of the kiddos for a spin. Putt putt was more my speed. So when they finished their track time, we all played putt putt. Of course, I had the best score :)

I love this pic of Soph goofing off in the background. My funny stories involving the kids lately:
1. Caroline asked Brad for chocolate milk this morning when she got up. Brad tells her that she needs to eat breakfast and get something in her belly first. So she fixes herself cocoa krispies and waits a few minutes. Then she goes and gets a straw and sucks up the chocolate milk that her cocoa krispies just made. LOL!!
2. Jackson is telling me yesterday that he liked me being at his Halloween party last year. I tell him that I'm the PTP mom for 2nd grade this year. He asks me who decides that and I tell him Mrs. Boley. He asks why she gets to and I tell him because she is president and he says "Mrs. Boley is the president? When did she become president?" I tell him at the end of last school year and he says " No Mom, Barack Obama is president, NOT Mrs. Boley" Hilarious!!!
