J has been so lucky and hopefully Soph will be too. But poor Tootie's ears have bugged her since she was 6 months old. She had tubes put in last May 5, 2008 and has had 5 ear infections since then. So we went back to the ENT today and her left tube is completely out and her right one is plugged up. The right one is the one she always has problems with. Anyway the plan is to see if she can make it through summer without more than 3 infections. If she can't; she'll get another set of tubes and her adenoids removed. If you have your adenoids removed it decreases the amount of upper respiratory infections and decreases the chance for a 3rd set of tubes by 50%. It's heartbreaking to see her so miserable. She cries when I wash her hair and when you ask her anytime if she has a boo boo she always points to her right ear no matter what she's doing.
