J-my little sweetie. Sits and plays his DS next to me while I make dinner to keep me company. So cute! He had a bike accident and scraped up his foot so that's why he is missing a sock.

Dressin Up
The girls are back on their dress up kick and it is so cute, now to watch them play together. As long as Sophi goes along with Tootie's bossiness, they get along just fine. Nene came over to help me out yesterday and today and my house looks BEAUTIFUL and the kids had a fabulous time.
J got another 100% on his spelling test, today! It is coming time for Jackson to be the "I Am Special" kid for class. That means he gets to bring home Kinderbear for 10 days and change his clothes, take him places, sleep with him, write in a journal. He also gets to be the lineleader and wear a special hat. So he and I made a poster and had so much fun. I found out his favorite color is RED. His favorite thing to do is farm with Poppie. His favorite song is the "Boo-Ya" song. It was great!

Enjoying the Spring
We spent alot of time at the park this past week. The girls and I would walk/run when they weren't at school and then we would play on the playground when we were done. After that, we would pick J up and Tootie would tell him that we were at the park for the day. Low and behold, we would have to go back again after J changed his clothes. It's a good thing we are alot closer to the park :)
J got another 100% on his spelling test on Friday. That's the 5th one in a row. He did great on his Math test also. Tootie and I went to the staff vs. students volleyball game at St. Su's it was fun. However, since the Kindergarten teachers had to step away, my friend, Patty and I had to supervise 32 Kindergarteners for 30 minutes. Whew! I don't know how they do it (Aunt Cin ;) ). I had to put two kids on yellow for not listening and Tootie and Margaret (Patty's little 2 yr old) had to go potty. Imagine that! Well about 10 other kids had to go potty, too. So she took a group and when she came back, Another 16 had to go, so I had to take them to the bathroom. It was like herding cattle thru Disney World. We were glad when Mrs. B and Miss Bishop got back.
Sophi has a new love for drawing and coloring.
J is working on level 2 readers, which is hard, I think, for Kindergarten (tonight he sounded out and read the words disguise, invented, professor, defeated, and genious. Tricky! He is a great reader and LOVES a challenge!
Tootie up and decided she was going to wear "wonderwear" again. She said "It's now time for me to wear wonderwear since I'm all grown up now". Yippeee. I praised her up and down so maybe she will continue. So now she will let me do her hair, wear her coat again, AND wear underwear. My only battle left is getting her to wear her socks :) I can deal with that.
Other than that, not much else going on with the kiddos.

Snow Catch Up week
Hi Everyone,
NO pics tonight but I hope to get on that this weekend. It has been so busy this week. I finished my Spring cleaning and today volunteered at the school to help with vision and hearing screens. I went for a third interview this afternoon at Methodist again. So hopefully after jumping through all the hoops, I will hear something next week.
J got another 100% on his spelling test and we filled out all of his Valentine's tonight for his party tomorrow. His favorite new catch phrase is "O.M.G" and I asked him if he knew what he was saying and he says "Of course, MOM, it means, Oh My Gosh" Hilarious.
Sophi is starting to serve many timeouts for her terrible two bad habits of smacking people when they tell her "No" thanks to her brother and sister for teaching her these wonderful tidbits.
Tootie is still my bullheaded child who refuses to wear underwear, socks, and now we battle coat. She loses that one. She also tells me not to brush her hair because she likes her little "rats" that live in there. She also is afraid to take a bath because she doesn't want to "lose" her stinkies. They crack me up everyday.
Today, Jackson wrote a story at school. They listened to Goldilocks and the 3 Bears anf for a writing assignment they were asked to write what they thought Goldi did when she escaped out the window before the bears got there. J replied "She ran and found her Mommy and went home and played with toys" (with a lot more spelling differences. LOL). Not too much else to report.

Snow of December 1977
Check out all this snow we had a week after I was born. Thought this was appropriate for all the weather we have had lately.
oldies
Mom found some old cheer pics and I've had them on the fridge for awhile and thought the girls might like to take a look for some old memories
Mom and Dad's Visit for Soph's Birthday
Well, due to the crappy weather, we have had to postpone Sophi/Nichole/Mom's birthday party; so Mom and Dad decided to come over and visit us today for a little party for Sophi. She loved all of her gifts, especially her new costume outfits and spring outfits. She is quite the clothes and accessory princess. We had a great time visiting. Mom and Dad, all their neighbors, even Mamma, Uncle Ron and Aunt Sheryle had been out of power since last Monday and got it back yesterday. All for Dad to get a call from Ted, his neighbor letting him know the power was out again. Here are some great pics of the day.

The Motorized Cart
Funny Story! So our priest, Father Kevin, had an injury while playing kickball with the kids a while back and broke his hip. Well, he is recovering slowly and is now using a motorized cart for distances. Well, he is always visiting over at the school with all the kids. He is so wonderful and kind. Tootie has gotten to know him recently. We were in the grocery store, yesterday and there was an older lady with a black sweater wearing a large hat. Tootie ran up to the back of her yelling, "Father, Father". The lady turned around and Tootie said with her hands on her hips "Hey, you're not Father Kevin! How come you have his cart?" It was so hilarious. Luckily, the lady was hard of hearing and missed most of it :)))
Well, we have had about 2 inches of ice in this huge ice storm. The kids did not have school today and not tomorrow, either. These were the first 2 days of school cancelled this year. It's a mess out there. They declared our counties and the surroundings under emergency conditions so no one is to get out and travel unless for emergencies. They are closing Exel tomorrow and Craig's factory, GSI is closing tomorrow, also. Mom and dad have only had 2 hours of power the in the last 2 days. Mamma lost power last night and then again this afternoon. It is a mess. So ready for Spring :))
