Bees Bees Bees
Well, last weekend, I saw a swarm of thousands of bees swarming over the pool. Apparently, they finished building a hive in the house siding. They would constantly swarm around the pool filter. I found the nicest beekeepers and they came and helped extract them. It was amazing the bees were actually very friendly, they weren't combative and didn't sting any of us. After they removed the siding, they took a special bee vacuum and sucked them off of the honeycomb, then they extracted the honeycomb and the comb that just had honey and no eggs, I got to keep. We LOVE the honey. It is so good for you, especially in raw form. The other honeycomb with eggs or baby bees were placed inside of homemade screens and then placed in a box. The bees were trapped in a screen container from the bee vac and placed in their hive and transported to the beekeepers hive to see if we got the queen. If she dies, then another hive will need to adopt the workers and accept them. It is sooooooo amazing.
