What a great birthday Tootie had. It all started with J and I singing "Happy Birthday" as we went up the stairs to get Tootie. Then I let her pick out her own clothes which she did a good job (jeans with flower patches, pink sparkly shirt, and her black dress shoes). We took J to school and all of us girls went to Kroger and she picked out her own birthday cake. As soon as we got home, I let her have a piece of cake (I had a piece, too because a girl can't eat cake alone!) Then she played with J's Spiderman guys all morning and danced to the Backyardigan's about 500 times. She got phone calls from Gig and Pamps, Mamma and Pamps (last night), Nene, Pop, and Craig and Nichole. She got the mail, today and got cards with birthday money from Cara and Ryan and Nain. And she got other cards from Mark and Staci, Doug and Joanie, and Nene and Pop. Then we picked up J and met Daddy at McDonald's Playzone and played there for an hour and went home to have MORE cake and open up a new baby and accessories from Mark and Staci (her godparents), and a water baby and carseat from us. We're headed to Chuckie Cheese on Fri. when Grandma and Grandpa get here from NY. She had such a special day and was telling everybody on the phone "Happy Day!". Thanks to all of you for making her birthday so special.
