Picking Flowers at the Reception
Tootie found the "Black Eyed Susans" and wanted to pick a couple. Since other girls were picking, I figured a few wouldn't hurt. Some of the older girls convinced her to put some behind her ears.
Jared and Tara's Wedding
What a great time at Jared and Tara's Wedding!! Mom, Nic, the girls, and I went to the ceremony and reception. Craig was a groomsmen and had to be their early. J and Pop went fishing since J didn't want to go to "a boring wedding". Ha! Poor Eric wanted to go but since the bathroom debacle he stayed at home to tile the new bathroom. Mom took the girls home after appetizers. They were totally exhausted. Soph fell asleep on Aunt Sheryle for about 30 minutes and Tootie never got a nap and was wandering around pulling on lights and tablecloths and picking nuts off of people's plates and trying to give them to other people so they went home and went to bed. While Nichole, Sandy, Amber, Lauren, me, and everybody else got to get down dancing. My brother is not really the dancing type but after a few drinks he was "Bringing Sexy Back" Ha!!

The trouble with old houses
Well, we had a mess last night. I was doing summer cleaning in the basement, getting my canning supplies ready and noticed the bottom of the water heater was rusted out and water was leaking everywhere. When I took a shower last night, I hollered at Eric to go downstairs and take a look. When he saw the hot water heater, he happened to hear water leaking. Well, water was gushing under the house. The tile had a crack all along the base of the shower and water had been leaking for who knows how long. Soooo....We went and bought the tile for all around the new bathtub in the materbathroom so Eric can get that laid so we have a tub while he rips out the floor of the shower and puts a new liner in the bottom. Then we wanted to get a point of use water heater and realized that our Circuit Box is maxed out and we will probably have to have the electric company come and put a new main line with 300-400amps in. Yuckkkkkk!!!!!!!! Seriously, this Money Pit is going on the market next spring. And it will NOT be a fixer upper!! 1990's and newer only! The good thing about this is getting going on the master bathroom again and poor little Tootie will have a bath her legs actually fit in.
Shoes for the Day
Tootie wanted to show you all her shoes for the day. She even told me to get my camera and she lifted her legs to show her purple pumps. Mommy gave her a pedicure tonight and painted them purple sparkly with pink polka dots and she desperately wanted her picture taken but it was too close to bedtime.
Yesterday, the girls and I stopped at the local farmer's stand on the way home and bought tomatoes to can crushed tomatoes for red sauce and juice for chili. Tootie was wearing her pink pumps and tiptoed through the gravel drive. Mrs. Kentworthy thought she was a stitch. When she asked Tootie if she was going to help Mommy can she said "Unt Uh! No! Mommy help me". I thought she was going to die laughing. Then she helped me load up A tomato while carrying it to the car in her high heels. I think she inherited Aunt Les's gene for shoes. Ha!
Boogie was so excited that he got his preschool magazine that has activities to prepare for Kindergarten. Mom and Dad got him a subscription last year for his birthday and he runs in the house and can't wait to get started. During his prayers tonight he was going thru his prayer list and he says "And God, I want some more of those fun books and LOTS and LOTS of worms to go fishing with Pop and Craig". It was so adorable. He insists on wearing his Spiderman baseball cap everyday because he says that Pop told him he needed a fishin hat. So he has decided this is his fishin hat.
My personal delivery boy
J insists on getting the mail everyday and has rigged a little spot on his bike to carry it up the drive.
Does Somebody have a banana for these monkeys
These 2 just want to swing or ride on whatever they can. I can't tell you how many times they get scolded for being under that darn tree. I have sprayed so many times for poison ivy with straight Round up but can't get rid of it.
Precious Angel 7 months pictures
I took some 7 month pictures today of Sophi while we were outside. I wish I hadn't overexposed them and the colors would have been much sharper. She was so excited to get her feet in the grass. She is sleeping like a dream lately!!! She goes to bed 7pm and gets up at 4am or 5am to eat and goes back to sleep until 8 or 8:30 and that's usually because the other 2 get up at 8:30am. She napped for 5 hours yesterday afternoon and still slept like a dream. I'm really glad now that her teeth all started coming in at the same time because now that we are on the down slope of it she is so happy, busy, and NOT fussy. She loves music now and loves to laugh at J. She crawls to the bottom of the stairs and looks up while the kids are playing upstairs and just looks at them like "Please, come down here so I can watch you".

My new bed set
I found a gorgeous set that was exactly what I was looking for at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I am thrilled. I even got new Roman shades instead of blinds.
Elmer Fud and little Elmer were after some Wabbits
Eric couldn't get any rabbits with the old bebe gun so he and J went and bought some kind of super Rabbit XT rifle. Ha! I have to laugh thinking about them buying a supped up rabbit rifle. They probed the yard and Eric realized he put the scope on backwards. Shhhhh! Hehe! Anyway it was too late for rabbit hunting tonight. This was a practice shot.
Jumping Beans
I have been cleaning out all the rooms in the house getting rid of clutter in cabinets and drawers. I decided to bring the jumping castle out of storage and use it in the yard for the kids while it is nice out. Eric blew it up today. J loved it but Toot wasn't too sure
