We had a busy day yesterday. We left at 11am to go to Morgan's softball game. J loved it and couldn't take his eyes off of it. Sophi crawled thru the mud since she wanted down and wouldn't stay on a blanket. I just rolled up her pants and washed her down with wipes when the game was over.
Then, we headed to the Wittenauer's for Morgan's birthday party, which was a Hawaaian theme. It rained but the kids didn't seem to care, they just put their swim suits on and still went down the "Slip N Slide" and had a squirt gun war. We left there about 4:30 and drove to Illinois for Aunt Sheryle's 50th birthday at the Civic Center.
J and Staci's dad, Randy, and brother Matt were playing a football game outside and J wanted Randy to catch a ball and didn't remember his name so just yelled "Hey whoever's grandpa you are can you throw it over here" It was priceless
The kids and my mom and Sheryle all danced. It was great watching Soph dance as she crawled and shook her head side to side. Then she would get up on her knees and put her hands in the air and dance. J and C ran so hard there little faces were beat red and wringing with sweat. Sophi wouldn't let ANYONE hold her all day including Eric, so I had little to eat, yesterday. She was on the GO GO GO and into everything DJ equipment, cake table, gift table, pinatas, you name it that little girl touched and checked it out!
We drove home last night since I wanted to go to church this morning but Sophi's attitude wouldn't have allowed it anyway. C and Soph slept until 10:45am this morning. They stayed awake in the car the whole 2 hours last night until 11 pm when we got home!!
