I WILL POST MORE VACATION PICS WHEN WE GET HOME AND I GET THEM EDITED

Day 5

We spent all day at SeaWorld, today. What an awesome experience. The kids loved it. Caroline learned how to clap at the Shamu show. Jackson and Eric sat on the first row of the Splash Zone and got drenched. J didn't like that too much. Caroline sat in her stroller and just danced back and forth to the music in the park. We ate dinner with the sharks at a restaurant called "Sharks". We watched a Pirate and Sea Lion show. Eric and J played in the water park. We plan on going back on Friday. The time has flown by tooooooo fast.

Well, I better go finish laundry

Day 4 Vacation

Today we went to Daytona Beach. We played Putt Putt golf. It was hysterical because we had to keep redirecting Jackson not to hit too hard, to hit the other way, to focus on the hole. Then out of nowhere he gets a hole in 1! What are the chances? We also took them to the batting cages and Jackson and Eric got to ride go carts. We ate fresh seafood at Barnacles.

The biggest news of all. We found out I am pregnant with number 3..He or she will be here around Jan. or Feb. We are so excited. I think Eric called everbody in his cell phone contact list.

Vacation Day 3

Today, We spent the morning at the pool relaxing. Eric went for a nice run. Then in the pm we took the kids to New Smyrna Beach which is beautiful. Caroline and I sat in sand and let the ocean waves splash over our wastes. She LOVED it! She fixated on a sea gull and kept watching that bird. Jackson on the other hand couldn't hardly get past the thought of the sharks we read about living in that ocean and coming for him. He spend most of the time with daddy on land building a sand castle.

The kids Passed out and Caroline slept 13 hours without waking up

Vacation Day 2

We left at 9am from GA this am and got to Tam and Gary's resort about 4:30pm. It is so wonderful here. We are in 118 and it overlooks the river and has 2 bedrooms a huge living room, screened in porch, right across from the pool, great kitchen. It is so much more than we could have asked for. When we got here, Jackson and Eric immediately went for the pool. Last year it was like pulling teeth to get Jackson in. This year he dove in with floaties on but before Eric or I was in the pool Kinda scary. We have to bribe him to get out of the pool.

Wandy and Austin came from Jackson to see us and Tam had dinner for us about 7pm. It was so great to see everybody.

The Florida Vacation day 1

Well we left for vacation. The kids were so much better than I expected. We left our house about 8 am on sat. Jackson was a trooper; he just watched his dvds with his headphones on the whole way to Georgia. He didn't complain or ask if we were there yet one time. Caroline only had 2 meltdowns and one was because she was an hour overdue for her breakfast and the second time we were only 20 miles from the Salichs, our good friends from Newnan, GA. So we got in about 5pm. It was great family time.

1 week before Vacation!

Well, Caroline had her tubes put in last Wed. She did great. She was a little fussy before the surgery. She hadn't had anything to eat since 7pm and nothing to drink since midnight. Well they pushed her surgery back to 11am and she was starving. Poor thing found her sippy in the diaper bag and I had to take it away from her. Boy did that tick her off. It literally took 30 minutes. She did great and is feeling like a new baby. You can actually understand her when she says "Ought Oh!" She is really wanting to walk now.

I have been working on landscaping and that is a killer workout. 3 new flower beds, Yeah!!

Leave for Florida on Sat. Yeah!!!!!!!

Bad words

I picked Jackson up at school, today. And I was stopped by the assistant principal who told me Jackson had gotten in trouble for saying " Oh Sh**" to another little boy. The principal explained that this was a bad word that we don't say. Jackson replied "Yes, we do. My daddy says it all the time". So naturally, I called Eric and told him he was in trouble with the principal. Ha. Oh what little ones say.

Mother's Day Weekend

What a great weekend. Eric helped Mark work on his car, so the kids and I went to Mom and Dad's for Fri and Sat. Friday night we had a great dinner with the grandparents, Craig, Mom, Dad, and the kids and I. I got some workout clothes, flower money, and my wonderful, thoughtful brother got me a rose bush, which he remembered has been my favorite to grow since I was in high school. He's so thoughtful.

We came home Sat. afternoon and Eric watched the kids so I could go to the greenhouse and buy my perennials. I came home about 5pm and dug a new flowerbed around our flagpole. Then it was about 8pm so I got the kids dinner, baths, and bed. Then Eric and I rented "P.S. I Love You". It was sooo good but sad. Not an Eric kind of movie, but Happy Mother's Day to me.

This morning Eric and the kids took me to O'Charley's for brunch, then we went shopping and I got to pick out my new eliptical machine. (Which I used tonight), and I also got a spa package. It was awesome. Best Mother's Day so far.

Prayers for a Family

I had a 16 year old patient pass away in the PICU, today. He had a chronic disease and developed pneumonia which his parents respected his wishes and did not put him on a ventilator. Please keep this family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time. I can't imagine the loss of one of my babies.

My Mother's Day Present from Jackson

Jackson and his preschool class made cards for their moms, yesterday. It was the sweetest thing. Miss Sarah asked Jackson what his mom looked like and he said "My mom is pretty". Miss Sarah asked " Okay, can you tell me when your mom looks pretty" Jackson said "All the time". Then they asked him what I like to do and of course, he said "She loves to SHOP" finally, they asked what do you like to do with your mom and he said "Well, shop". It was so sweet. I had to take him and get him a Medium chocolate milkshake to keep up the great compliments.

Caroline and I went to the ENT, yesterday. She is getting tubes put in next Wed. at 1045. Hopefully, she will get some much needed relief and be able to walk straight. Her hearing tested perfect but she did have lots of residual fluid left behind both of her eardrums.

Eric is busy helping his best friend, Mark with his car. Mark has a busted gasket on his car so Eric offered to fix it; however, when he got in there one of the cylinder heads is cracked. So Mark and Eric are taking out the engine to replace the heads and the gaskets. So this will keep Eric out of trouble for a little while.
