Asher 3 1/2 month pics

Look at Ashy, he looks so much like his Daddy! I also loved this pic of Rem and Ash chillin in front of the T.V.

Catholic Schools Week

Well, J and I went to mass at 5:30 last night, and I was so very proud of him. He sat with his class and Mrs. B. for a special children's mass to kick off Catholic schools week. He was so amazing. He listened so well during church, he can genuflect and kneels and prays with no guidance. He did such an amazing job and was so reverent.
The principal, Mrs. Keith, talked during mass and St. Susanna's ranked first among all 2010 IStep scores, they were given an exemplirary rating from the state, one of St. Susanna's students won the divisional spelling bee, and 3 of St. Su's students tied for 1st in the math divisional and another received 2nd place. The goal from the state is that each student improve their Istep scores by 52 points each year of school, St. Susanna's averages 76 points each year. I say it is all because Christ is in the school and surrounds everything they do.
J and Toots went to J's friend, Jada's birthday party this evening at Indy's Pizza (kind of like Chuck E. Cheese). They had a fabulous time and came home charged up. Soph and I had a little at home spa day. I gave her a little mani/pedi and hair do. She loved it! Now back to school and "Hello" Monday, tomorrow.

Chef Sophi

I know I have been behind lately, but I've had 2 job interviews in the past couple of weeks and working on my new website for my Legal Nurse consulting business plus J has had lots of school projects and now has Math test and Spelling tests on Friday. My interview has been with Clarian for a nursing informatics position, which is basically a cross between a nurse and computer programmer to change software and documentation. My team of 6, if I get the job, would be servicing the nursing documentation system for Methodist, IU, Riley, Clarian West, Clarian North, Clarian Arnett, Ball Hospital, and all beltway hospitals. So wish me luck, it will be hard going back full time after being at home for so long but it will be nice to have a career.

Here are some pics of Sophi trying on lots of clothes and in her new chef outfit. She loves to pretend like she is cooking!

Toy Story 3 on Ice

Well, we took the kids to see Toy Story 3 Icecapades today and it was so much fun. All 3 of them were so mesmerized that they sat on the edge of their seats with their mouths hung open. Tootie kept saying "How'd they do that?", referring to all the jumps and flips on the ice. I don't know how they skate in those costumes. Hamm, Rex, and Slinky were some big costumes and they were skating like crazy. They had some amazing light techniques and everything. The souvenirs were expensive, for 2 Jessie hats and a Woody hat it was $45!!! J and Tootie sat next to each other and were chattering about the part it was in the movie. It was adorable. Soph was stunned. It was right up there with Disney World.

Tootie had to go potty 3 minutes before opening. So we had to run up 2 flights of stairs and into the restroom. There was only one stall open and of course, Tootie decides that was not the one she wanted. So we waited for another to open. She wanted to wash her hands, and I said "No way, I have antibacterial in my bag, lets go" so then she was hem hawing down the stairs, so I picked her up and ran down the stairs, just in time for the opening lights!!!

We had great seats. Dead center, front, down in the 16th row!!

On the way out, I was carrying Sophi and my bag and Tootie was to my left. Well, a hispanic mother spoke something in Spanish to her little girl and Tootie whirled around and said "What did you say to her?" I looked over to correct Tootie, just in time to step in a hole and roll my left ankle. I went down to my knees. Unfortunately, Soph was on that hip so I had the extra weight. Luckily, I went down on my knees and didn't drop Soph or my bag. I had to stand up and walk another 10 ft to the car. If I would have had any of my heels or heel boots on, I would have snapped that ankle. So I'm on the couch with ice and heat on that swollen leg right now.

New, 1, 2

How time flies!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my Baby Girl!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my Amazing Sophi Gracie!!! I can't believe she is 2. I know it's been a while since I posted but it has been a busy time. We took the kiddos to Chuck E. Cheese for Soph's birthday tonight and are headed to Toy Story 3 Ice Capades tomorrow afternoon.

I had a job interview at Clarian for a Nursing Informatics position on Wednesday and was called to come in for a second interview next Wednesday.

Tootie loves preschool!! She is in a phase were she refuses to wear underwear and socks!! Go figure, as her teacher says, "she will always be a leader and not a follower, so when she gets older that will be a good thing!"

J is doing great. He will start having weekly spelling tests starting next week for 2nd semester but he is very strong in spelling.
