The Brewery Tour

Eric and I took Boogie to the FX Matt Brewery where Eric used to bottle beer in high school. We had a good a time. It was very interesting. We saw a "speak easy" room and saw how the beer was made and what makes different hops and how the yeast for each different company makes the beer taste different. All the vats were made out of pure copper and I guess that there is no way any new brewery could do this because the cost would be phenomenal. Then at the end we had vouchers for drinks. J had a "shirley temple" and a "orange cream soda", I had a root beer, and ginger ale, and Eric had a summer beer, and the Imperial IPL beer. This is one of the only 2 breweries that are still family owned, the other is Yuengling. Very interesting, especially to someone who can't stand beer. They also make some awesome soda, which J and I found out. Here's the 3 of us goofing around.
